Advisory Board
George Graham is a Texas Instruments veteran and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Acoustic Technology. Mr. Graham serves as a consultant to the semiconductor industry with customers that include TSMC of Taiwan, a leading semiconductor foundry. From 1958 to 1991, he held a variety of management positions with Texas Instruments in Dallas and Houston, including Senior Vice President for Corporate Quality. He was also chairman of Texas Instrument's Corporate Quality Council, Logistics Council and Manufacturing Council and was a member of U.S. Quality Council ll of the Conference Board.
Alan Hansford has over 20 years of semiconductor experience focusing on emerging markets. Alan was most recently CEO of Keyotee, and before that was the VP of Marketing at SigmaTel from the stage of start up to successful IPO. He also worked at Cirrus Logic and Analog Devices.
Kevin McGarity retired as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Sales after a 28-year career at Texas Instruments. Previously at TI he held responsibility for the Global Semiconductor Quality, Information Technology and Business Development organizations. He lived and worked in Europe for five years, having responsibility for various sales, marketing and operational roles in the UK, France and at a European level. Mr. McGarity currently serves on the Board of Directors for Altera Corporation and Fairchild Semiconductor. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Iron Speed, Inc., as well as past and present Advisory Boards for several other companies representing both Venture Capital Companies, Distributors and private organizations. He is an active international consultant providing services to global semiconductor, distribution and consulting companies.
Panos Papamichalis is one of the country's leading experts in the field of signal processing. He currently serves as the Chair of and Professor in the department of Electrical Engineering at the SMU School of Engineering. He has written several books on speech coding and digital signal processing and has served for several years as a director of the Tsukuba R& D Center in Tsukuba Japan, Texas Instrument's only research center outside the United States. In 1999, he was named a fellow in the Institute for Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
