Robert O. Silco, Co-CEO, Founder and President Mr. Silco has held senior executive positions in engineering, marketing, sales and general management within the electronics industry. His previous responsibilities include General Manager of Government Products Division, General Manager of Small Signal Transistor Group, General Manager of Memory Products Group, and Senior Marketing and Sales Executive. The companies where Mr. Silco has held senior management positions include Texas Instruments, RCA, VLSI Technology, Compass Design Automation, and Acoustic Technologies. Mr. Silco has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.
Ed Staiano, Co-CEO and Chairman of the Board Dr. Ed Staiano is the Chairman and CEO of Sorrento Investment Group focusing on start up ventures in the Internet and Telecommunications areas. Dr. Staiano is a member of the Board of Trustees of Bucknell University, a Director of Apriva LLC and a member of the Board of Acoustic Technologies. Prior to starting his own investment company, Dr. Staiano was the Chairman and CEO of Iridium World Communications Limited (IWCL), following a 23year career with Motorola. Dr. Staiano earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Bucknell University. He holds a Ph.D in mechanical engineering from the University of New Mexico. He is a Graduate of Stanford University’s Institute of Rocket Propulsion and Harvard Universitiy’s Institution for Educational Management.
Tony Valentino, Chief Operating Officer Mr. Valentino has held executive an management positions in sales, marketing, operations, and general management within the electronics industry. His previous responsibilities include General Manager of Silicon Products, Senior Director of Strategic Accounts, and National Sales Manager. The companies he has worked for during the past 32 years include Texas Instruments, VLSI Technology, Rohm Electronics, Alcatel Microelectronics, and Acoustic Technologies. Mr. Valentino has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
Ed Rocha, Chief Technical Officer Ed Rocha has previously held executive, management and engineering positions in manufacturing, engineering, marketing and sales within the electronics industry. The companies where Mr. Rocha held positions during the past 30 years include Medtronic, Intel, Digital Equipment Corporation, VLSI Technologies and Philips Semiconductors.
Don DiDonato, Vice President Worldwide Sales Mr. DiDonato has held sales management positions at Actel and Chip Express along with major account management responsibilities at Mentor Graphics and Tektronix. He has held engineering and engineering management positions at Bell Labs and Base Ten Telecom.
